Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Ubiquitous Preferred Services ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on ubiquitouspreferred.com (the "Site"), the categories we use, and how you can manage your choices. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include local storage and session storage, which a site can use to store small amounts of information in your browser. They can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another service), and either "session" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" (kept until they expire or you delete them).

2. The categories we use

We group technologies into the categories below. Strictly necessary items are always active; everything else requires your consent, which you give through our consent banner.

  • Strictly necessary: required for the Site to function securely (page rendering, the contact form, and remembering your consent choice). These cannot be switched off in our systems.
  • Functional / preferences: would remember choices you make to personalize your experience. We do not currently use any.
  • Analytics: would help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. These are off by default and only run if you opt in. None are currently active.
  • Advertising / targeting: we do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels, or cross-site tracking.

3. What we actually store today

The only item we currently store on your device is a strictly necessary consent record:

  • Name: upsi-consent-v1
  • Type: first-party browser local storage (not a network cookie)
  • Purpose: remembers your cookie choices so we don't ask on every visit
  • Duration: persists until you clear it (via "Cookie Settings", or by clearing your browser storage)

4. Third-party technologies

Our web fonts are self-hosted on our own servers, so simply viewing the Site does not load resources from, or set cookies for, any third-party font provider. When you submit our contact form, the data is sent to Zoho CRM (Zoho Corporation) to process your request; Zoho may set its own cookies on its own domain as part of receiving that submission. We do not embed third-party advertising or social tracking pixels.

5. Managing your consent

When you first visit, our consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject all non-essential technologies, or open Manage preferences to choose by category. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

6. Browser controls & Global Privacy Control

You can also control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time. Because we rely only on strictly necessary storage by default, blocking optional technologies will not affect how the Site works. As we do not sell or share personal information or serve targeted advertising, there is no targeted-advertising activity for a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or "Do Not Track" signal to opt out of.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the law change. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do, and where appropriate ask for renewed consent.
