Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

Ubiquitous Preferred Services ("Ubiquitous Preferred Services", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in the State of New York, United States, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through ubiquitouspreferred.com (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the rights and choices you have. It is designed to align with the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable privacy laws.

For the purposes of the GDPR, Ubiquitous Preferred Services is the "data controller" of personal information collected through this Site.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide to us. When you submit our advisory request / contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us: your first and last name, company name, work email address, optional phone number, your message, and any readiness-diagnostic summary you choose to attach.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data when you visit, which may include your IP address, browser type and settings, operating system, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site.

Local storage / consent record. We store your cookie-consent choices in your browser's local storage so we can honor them on future visits. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or government-identifier data), and we ask that you not submit such information through the form.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry, scope a readiness review, and follow up about the services you asked about.
  • To manage the resulting business relationship and communicate with you about it.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To remember your privacy preferences.
  • To comply with our legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell or "share" (as defined under California law) your personal information.

3. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (responding to your inquiry); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our Site and business, balanced against your rights; your consent (for example, optional analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only strictly necessary cookies and local storage by default, and we ask for your consent before using any optional (e.g. analytics) technologies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our web fonts are self-hosted on our own servers, so loading this Site does not send your data to font CDNs or other third parties. You can manage your choices at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers (processors) who help us run the Site and our business under contract, including Zoho Corporation (Zoho CRM, which receives the contact-form submissions you send, processed in the United States) and IONOS (our website hosting provider).
  • Legal and safety: where required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ubiquitous Preferred Services, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum / International Data Transfer Agreement, as applicable). You may request more information about these safeguards using the contact details below.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy (for example, to respond to and manage your inquiry and any resulting relationship) and as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. How we protect information

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, a strict Content Security Policy and other security headers, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights: EEA, UK & similar jurisdictions

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access your personal information; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

10. Your rights: California (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know and access the personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may exercise your rights yourself or through an authorized agent by contacting us using the details below; we will verify your request before responding. The categories of personal information we collect (identifiers, professional/employment information, and internet/network activity) and our purposes for using them are described above.

11. Your rights: other U.S. states & regions

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others) have comparable rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. In Canada, our handling of personal information is consistent with PIPEDA. We honor these rights regardless of where you live; contact us to make a request.

12. Global Privacy Control & "Do Not Track"

Because we do not sell or share personal information or serve targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of via Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals or browser "Do Not Track" settings. If we ever introduce such processing, we will honor recognized opt-out signals where required by law.

13. Children's privacy

This Site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Third-party links

Our Site may link to third-party websites (such as APMG International). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
